All prices displayed on our platform are powered by our proprietary pricing oracle, a system we built in-house to provide accurate, up-to-date market valuations for trading cards and sealed products.

### How Our Pricing Oracle Works

Rather than relying on a single third-party source, our oracle aggregates sales data from multiple marketplaces to calculate fair market values that reflect real transaction prices.

#### Data Sources

We pull live and historical sales data from:

* **TCGPlayer** — one of the largest dedicated trading card marketplaces
* **eBay** — a broad secondary market with high sales volume across all card types
* **Additional sale platforms** — we supplement these with data from several other trading card and collectibles marketplaces to ensure broad market coverage

#### What We Price

Our oracle covers valuations across multiple card categories:

| **Ungraded Cards**  | Raw singles across all sets and rarities             |
| **Graded Cards**    | PSA, BGS, CGC, and other professionally graded cards |
| **Sealed Products** | Sealed products both current and vintage             |

### How Prices Are Calculated

Our oracle processes recent **completed sales** (not listings) to determine current market value. By focusing on actual transactions rather than asking prices, our valuations reflect what buyers are genuinely willing to pay.

Prices are updated regularly to account for market shifts, new set releases, and changes in demand.
