Card Identification Corrections

Last updated: February 4th, 2026

RIP.FUN uses a combination of automated systems and human review to identify cards opened on the platform. While this process is designed to be highly accurate, rare identification errors may occur.

RIP.FUN reserves the right to correct any identification error at any time, including by updating a user’s digital inventory and any related records to reflect the actual card received.

If an identification error is detected and reported by a user, RIP.FUN may, at its discretion and subject to availability, either:

1

Acquire and deliver the originally identified card

RIP.FUN may acquire the originally identified card on behalf of the user.

2

Provide fair market value in USD

RIP.FUN may provide the fair market value of the originally identified card in USD, as determined by RIP.FUN at the time the issue is verified.

In all cases, the user’s inventory will be updated to reflect the actual card that was pulled. RIP.FUN may require users to report suspected identification errors promptly and reserves the right to review all relevant data, including opening footage, scan results, and fulfillment records, before applying any correction or compensation.
